What is Quiche?
Quiche, pronounced “keesh”, is part of French cuisine but is popular in other countries as well. It happens to be very popular in my kitchen!
It’s a pie shaped savory tart filled with a mixture of eggs, milk and cheese. Once you have the egg mixture, it’s time to get creative. You add what you want for vegetables and meat. It doesn’t take very much of the extras so it’s a perfect opportunity to use up leftovers.

Ingredients
The ingredients for today’s easy quiche recipe are simple and we didn’t have to do any extra shopping. We had everything in the pantry and refrigerator already.
The primary ingredients are:
- Eggs
- Milk
- Cheese
Adding the Extras
To that custard base, I’ve added the EXTRAS:
- Onion
- Ham
- Asparagus
- Black Olives
You can get as creative as you want with these EXTRAS. Try cooked bacon, spinach, kale, sausage, chopped tomatoes, bell pepper. Just use your imagination and creativity to make your own unique quiche.
This quiche is the perfect opportunity to use this Seasoning Salt Blend.
One Bowl Mixing
You’ve heard of Dump Cake, right? You’re going to love this easy quiche recipe because it’s the same concept. You dump all the ingredients in a bowl, mix them together and then pour into the pie plate to cook. That makes it super fast to prepare.
You can mix everything up, throw it in the oven and then go about your morning routine while it’s cooking. After about 45 minutes, you have a delicious warm meal.
No Crust Quiche
I always make quiche with some Bisquick and you can absolutely use Gluten Free Bisquick, if you prefer. Using just a ¾ cup of Bisquick means that you don’t need a pre-made pie crust shell. You simply add it to the bowl and it magically forms a crust base for you. It’s yum-mazing!
I hope you enjoy this great recipe and I look forward to hearing about your creative variations.

Ham leftovers? Really?? Not in my house!! Well, if there are, they go into green beans for my husband, and an omelet for me! Delish!

Baked these in toaster oven in23 minutes (each) since oven used for another group at very diffenerent temp. EXCELLENT! Used much more hot sauce, but a lot of mustard could be used instead (good with both ham and asparagus).

Quiche turned out very good. I just needed to add a few herbs. I added spinach, and shredded cheddar cheese in addition to the ingredients called for. Will definitely make again. I couldn’t find my hot sauce.
