Instant Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup

Chicken Corn Tortillas Onion Peppers Celery Carrots Chicken Broth Seasonings Half N Half Cheese


Get started by adding some olive oil. Saute the onion, peppers, celery, carrots and garlic until fragrant.  If using a crock pot, you can simply add everything at once.

Add the Chicken and Chicken Broth. For even more intense flavor, add some chicken bouillon too.

Set Instant Pot to high for 10 minutes then natural release. For Crockpot, 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.

Stir in creamy half n half and shredded cheese until everything has been mixed together well. Bring it back up to heat, if necessary.

Top with your freshly made fried tortillas, red cabbage, jalapenos, avocado slices and crema. Squeeze over some lime. Serve immediately.
