Chicken Onion Chicken Broth Crescent Rolls Pimientos Cornstarch Salt Pepper


It's so easy to make Chicken & Dumplings in the Instant Pot! Add the chicken, onion and chicken broth then set for 5 minutes and natural release.

Remove the chicken to cool a little bit before chopping or shredding. While the chicken is cooling, let the broth come  to a low boil to begin cooking the dumplings.

I used a can of crescent rolls and pulled off small pieces. If you really love the dumplings, you can add two cans. Add only two or three  pieces at a time, to keep them from sticking.

Return the chicken to the broth. Add the pimientos and a cornstarch slurry to thicken it up a little bit. Serve as soon as it reaches the consistency you like.
